Locks Ride Recreation Ground

Locks Ride Recreation Ground is between Warfield and Ascot and is a popular park for families to visit, especially in the warmer months. The play area is well maintained and it’s great for picnics.

What is there to do at Locks Ride Recreation Ground?

There is a Splash Pad (open in the warmer months, 11am-1pm and 3pm-5pm), climbing equipment, rope bridge, swings, a slide, a trampoline and two zip wires.

You will also find a large sandpit, so make sure you don’t forget your buckets and spades.

There is a large playing field which in the autumn and winter has footabll goals. There are picnic tables and a bbq area. You can hire the bbq’s from Winkfield Parish Council. There is also outdoor gym equipment.

About the Splash Pad

The Splash Pad is turned on during the warmer months and runs between 11am – 1pm and 3pm – 5pm daily. The Splash Pad is enclosed by a fence. To use the Splash Pad you need to jump on the black pads on the floor.

The Splash Pad has a mixture of water jets on the floor and also three large buckets.

There is a free car park and toilets you can use. Please note the recreation ground is a dog-free zone.
