After having followed the Baby Bank Windsor on Facebook for a couple of years I emailed Rebecca and Amy to find out a little more about the charity. I went down meet Rebecca and had a tour around the storage facility. The charity is currently applying to be a registered charity and is run enthusiastically by it’s founders whilst they are both busy holding down part-time jobs and are mothers.
The Baby Bank in Windsor was founded in 2015 and collects good quality secondhand clothes, equipment and furniture and gift it to families in and around Berkshire, who are referred to the Baby Bank.
The Baby Bank also collect donations and run fundraising events so they can buy new high chairs, buggies plus cot and moses basket mattresses. Currently the Baby Bank are in need of double buggy donations.
