Pumpkin picking is becoming more and more popular each year. Here are some places in and near Berkshire and the surrounds where you can go and pick a pumpkin.

Pumpkins & Woodland Trail At Wasing

Visit Wasing’s annual Pick Your Own Pumpkins & Woodland Trail Event, open on selected dates between 17th – 31st October 2025.

Nestled in the Berkshire countryside near Aldermaston, visitors are invited to explore the estate’s magical woodland trail, capture the perfect family photograph by the fairytale pumpkin carriage, and then rummage through the pumpkin field, wheelbarrow in hand, to choose their very own Wasing pumpkins. Finished off with a variety of seasonal snacks, including crêpes, donuts, and pizzas, all served under a cosy stretch tent.

Tickets are £6.50 for everyone aged 2+. Under 2s are free but still require a ticket. Free in-field parking.

Tickets are for timed entry slots, which can be selected upon booking.

Pumpkin picking at Hallcourt Farm is a wonderful day out for all the family.

A wild woodland trail is brought to life with fun and spooky Halloween decorations and photo opportunities galore. There is face-painting, activities and games to play, giant bales to climb and prizes to be won – including best dressed! Best of all, leave the mess behind and carve and decorate your pumpkin in their beautiful Halloween themed barn!

Back for a third year and with rave reviews, Hallcourt Farm is a small family farm with limited tickets available – and rumour has it, there could be one or two night-time slots opening this year!
