What can we do at the park?
At the park you will find a large open grass space which is great for picnics, meeting friends and playing games. There are picnic benches around the park, plus a new path around the green space.
The enclosed playground is a good size and has swings, a climbing frame and helter skelter, obstacle course, trampoline plus other equipment suitable for children under 12. There is also a toddler friendly area which includes a sandpit, ‘talking flowers’ and ‘jumping’ mushrooms. So don’t forget buckets and spades when you take a visit to Broomhall Recreation Ground.

There is also some more ‘adventure’ play equipment and a giant green dragon called ‘Dilly the Dragon’.

Next to the under 12 area, is play equipment for older children which was opened in Summer 2024. There is a tube slide with climbing frame which includes climbing walls, monkey bars, zip wire, rope swing, bucket swing and basket ball area.
