Background
uSports was established by Charlie Hiscox in 2017 to deliver high quality sports coaching services to young people of all abilities. Services currently run across Berkshire and Bristol and their surrounding areas.
With over 100 coaches delivering sessions, we deliver School Sports Coaching (Extra-Curricular Clubs, PE Lessons, CPD Teacher Training & more), Football / Sports/Multi-Activity/ Performing Arts Camps in the school holidays, and weekly Football Development Centres & Toddler Football.
A growing business
The business has continued to go from strength to strength with over 380 positive Google reviews reflecting how far the company has progressed. In the summer of 2024, just as the Olympics were underway, we had our busiest period ever. Testament to our amazing coaches and support staff, we had over 10,000 holiday camp bookings across our 23 holiday camp locations with amazing feedback. Helping so many children be inspired by sport and encouraging them to lead a healthy lifestyle has been hugely rewarding.
We now work with over 100 schools and nurseries and have 15 Community Development Centre sessions per week, so our coaches are extremely well qualified and experienced in their coaching delivery.
Careers and Community Development
We continue to evolve and expand and are passionate about providing career opportunities for existing and aspiring coaches who want to work in our field. With much sought after apprenticeships, work placements and a constant focus on career progression within the organisation – we strive to recruit, train and nurture the best talent to provide the best sports coaching provision in our communities.
To support the wider community, uSports also likes to get involved in fun activities such as the Woodley Carnival which, in the summer of 2024 with uSports as a headline sponsor, saw 28 football teams playing in a football tournament.
