What is there to do at Dobbie’s Garden Centre at Hare Hatch?
We enjoy visiting local garden centres – they’re a good place to find unique gifts and we love visiting the cafes too. Dobbies Garden Centre in Hare Hatch is a lovely place to visit if you are looking to fill a few hours.
The garden centre has a selection of toys and present ideas plus plants and garden furniture etc.

The Cafe offers a selection of hot and cold food and drink (including breakfast and afternoon tea). Children eat free with any traditional or full breakfast or adult main course. You can view the menu here.

The soft play is a lovely addition. There is a baby area for children up to 2yrs and the main play area is for children 3-8yrs. It only costs £2pp. You can also book in advance if you would like to secure a time slot. When we visited during term time it was lovely and quiet.

The Garden Centre holds Little Seedling Children’s Parties where the children can enjoy the soft play and then some food from the cafe. You can find out more here.
They quite often hold events (particularly at Christmas time) and workshops in store. You can see the list of events here.

What Else is Nearby
Maidenhead Aquatics is next door to the garden centre and they share the same car park so you could easily pop in here to see the fish during your visit.
Not far away from Dobbies is Riverways Farm, where they have a little honesty shop for eggs, jams, honey etc plus you can take a look at the farm animals – goats, pigs and reindeer. We really enjoy visiting here.
