We visited Prospect Park in Reading earlier this year and were very impressed. The new play area is great! Read on to find out more and what you can find there.

What is there at Prospect Park?
The new play area here opened in March 2023 and is very impressive. It’s huge and has something for all ages and abilities. There is lots of accessible play equipment and some activity panels too for quieter play.
As you enter the new play area the first things you see are two large towers with a huge helter skelter tube slide and a net bridge joining the towers.
There are several swings and slides, plus a zip wire, climbing frames and a play net.
There is plenty for younger children to play on including a small climbing frame, toddler swings, a roundabout, some spring toys and lots more. This whole play area is enclosed.
There are some table tennis tables and basket ball courts too.
What Facilities are there?
There are public toilets here. There is also plenty of green space to sit and eat a picnic.
Where Can I Park?
There is free car parking. The address is Liebenrood Road, Reading, RG30 2ND.
What Else?
Ranger Station can be found at Prospect Park which includes rope play and a pitch and putt golf course. You can read more about it here.
There is a BMX track too.
