School Road Play Area in Hurst

You will find the School Road Play Area in Hurst in the heart of the village across the road from the Hurst village duck pond.

What is at the School Road Play Area?

At the enclosed play area you will find a large play frame which has rope bridges and obstacles. It also includes a slide, tunnel, climbing wall and pole.

There are also two toddler swings, a roundabout, small climbing frame for younger children, a see-saw and miniature playhouse under the tree, plus picnic benches.

Then outside of the enclosed play area are four more swings, two for older children and two for toddlers. Plus a basket ball hoop, football goals, youth shelter and playing field.

Hurst Village Duck Pond

Across the road from the playground you will find the Hurst Village Duck Pond. The pond is large and there is a bench next to the pond so you can sit and enjoy the view.

We visited during the Easter Holidays and the pond was decorated for Easter with chicks, bunnies and bees!

Where can I park?

There is a small lay-by for two cars next to the car park which can be found at this location. https://what3words.com/epic.hoot.credit The lay-by is directly next to the play area.
