10 Family Friendly Things to do at Moss End Garden Village

Visit ReefKeeper and feed the Koi Carp – If you head into ReefKeeper and ask to feed the fish, you can buy a small pot of fish food and go and feed the fish in the large outdoor tank. It is worth noting that the Koi Carp are cold blooded animals and they eat less in the cooler months, therefore ReefKeeper only sell a smaller number of pots of food in the cooler months – so go earlier to avoid disappointment. There are so many interesting fish to look at inside the shop as well.

Take part in Moo Music class – Moo Music Bracknell runs music classes at Moss End for 0-5yr olds. They are lovely interactive sessions full of singing, dancing, playing and learning. Click here to book a session.

Visit The Jungle Reptiles – They have an incredible array of animals here! Everything from lizards and gekos to turtles and tortoises. They also hold educational talks.

Get creative in the Top of the Pots studio with some pottering painting. Click here to book your place.

Go to Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre – here you can take a look at the vast collection of birds of prey and owls and learn lots of interesting facts about them. Charges are £4 for adults, £2 for 4-15 year olds, £3 for concessions and free for under 4s. Click here to visit their website to find out more, including the experiences they offer.

Visit Il Cortile Deli – we highly recommend the pizza and the cakes (especially the apple cake!) and the tiramisu is meant to be amazing! You can find the full menu on their website here.

Enjoy food at Robyns Nest Cafe – They offer breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea as well as take-away boxes. There is also a small area for younger children to enjoy whilst you are there. You can visit their full website here.

Sit on the old red tractor outside the Old Grain Barn – this is a collective of antique, vintage and craft traders. Whilst you are there, pop upstairs and visit Kaboodle Vintage, they do amazing French soap.

Visit Bunns Car Boot Sale – These are held on Saturdays, (some) Wednesdays and Bank Holidays. Please check their website for exact dates and times. Please check before travelling that the car boot sale is on.
